Accessible Housing

The London Accessible Housing Register has been trialled and in use with some other London Boroughs over the last few years and is a component of CBL. It involves collecting information on the accessibility of properties that can be included in the property advert to help bidders identify suitable properties that should meet their needs. Each property is given an overall rating, ranging from A-G; with A indicating that the property is  wheelchair accessible throughout to G which indicates that the property does not have any accessibility information.

In effect this means that home-seekers with a disability can determine whether a home advertised will be suitable for them before placing a bid.
